NYC September 17, 2012

At the start of Fashionweek SS13, ANGELO GALASSO opend his U.S. Flagship store in the historic Edwardian Room at the Plaza Hotel. This will mark the first time in it’s history that this space will be used as a retail space. This location is true New York. The Plaza, known to every taxicab driver and tea-sipping little girl and her grandmother. Since the room is a landmarked property, the Galasso salon preserves its Spanish Renaissance Revival style. A painted ceiling, wrought-iron light fixtures, and grand windows with Central Park and Fifth Avenue views still maintain the Old World sophistication it had a hundred years ago. The shop follows Milan, London, and Moscow on Galasso’s roster, who opened his first retail location in 2009, and stands as an ideal showstopper for the crowds that cruise past these windows everyday. If you’re in the vicinity of Central Park South, you can’t possibly miss Angelo Galasso. We recommend you stop in. Mr. Galassos’ salon adds an italian elegance presently absent on fifth avenue.
