This year, there will be a new girl in town wearing amazing one-of-a-kind couture outfits. It’s STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE, and she’s coming to Paris with a trunk load of designer dresses from some of Frances’ greatest houses and most accomplished designers. Including Sonia Rykiel, Jean Cachreal, and Alexis Mabille. Strawbeery Shortcake is known in France as CHARLOTTE aux FRAISES. All of her new outfits were designed as part of a fundraising effort by Ce Ke du Conheur. A charity whose proceeds help improve the quality of life of hospitalized children and adolescents. The dolls will be showcased at L’ECOLE de la CHAMBRE SYNDICALE de la COUTURE during fashion week September 25- October 3, and then auctioned off with the proceeds going to Ce Ke du Conheur. STELLA CADENTE, MARITHE and FRANCOIS GIRBAUD, ANTIK BATIK, FIFI CHACHNIL and NATHALIE GARCON have all created fashions for Ms. SHORTCAKE.
