British Fashion Council Names People’s Revolution as its U.S. PR Firm

NEW YORK, Jul 13, 2009 / FW/ — The British are coming and there is no stopping them! The British Fashion Council (BFC) announced today that New York-based People’s Revolution has been retained as it U.S. public relations firm to promote London Fashion Week and British designers in the U.S.

Headed by Kelly Cutrone, People’s Revolution is one of the most influential PR firms in New York. A full-service brand strategy, marketing and public relations firm, People’s Revolution has offices in New York, Los Angeles and Paris.

The company has garnered international attention for their distinctive and pioneering expertise in fashion, lifestyle and new media. Their clients include Jeremy Scott, Agent Provocateur, Christie’s Auction House, Ben & Jerry’s, Henry Holland, Bernhard Wilhelm and Longchamp.

As part of its appointment as a PR firm, People’s Revolution will also be shooting their highly anticipated Bravo show throughout London Fashion Week. Bravo Channel has just commissioned an eight part documentary on People’s Revolution and as part of this; they will be filming at LFW.

London Fashion Week’s womenswear shows will take place from 18th – 22nd September at its new cultural home, Somerset House.
