MANUEL BOLANO ANSWERS FASHIONREPORTERS’SEVEN QUESTIONS INTERVIEW

BARCELONA, September 3, 2008 /FR/ - Born in 1984 in the very city of Barcelona, Manuel Bolaño has graduated in march 2007, thus finishing his studies at the Felicidad Duce School of Fashion and Design still in the Catalan capital.

After having completed his training, he became a designer in the studio for Mango and then had to leave the company, as he had been selected to take part in the Bressol Project.

A newcomer on the international fashion scene with his eponymous brand, Manuel Bolano wishes to find a niche market to continue his work and develop his designer’s brand.

Before his first runway show takes place at the second edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, to;orrow, September 4, at 05;30 p.m., the 24 year old designer has answered FashionReporters’ Seven Questions Interview. Let us wish all the best possible reception for his collection in the city of Gaudi.

What is fashion for?

To spend money every six months, to seduce and make you dream.

If you were not a fashion designer, what would you be?

A fashion designer. There is no other option.

What are you proud of?

Of presenting my very first collection on the runway at the age of 24 within the event of 080 Barcelona Fashion.

What are you ashamed of?

Of lies.

If you could keep just one garment or accessory, which one would you pick?

An embroidered piece.

What do you no longer believe in?

In ugly things.

What do you still believe in?

In beautiful things.
