18CRR81 CERRUTI at Pitti Immagine Uomo 81st Edition

MILAN, Dec 21, 2011/ — 18CRR81 CERRUTI’s autumn-winter 2012-2013 collection is steeped in an unmistakably Parisian atmosphere, that of a multi-faceted Paris whose innate elegance we recognize from certain art films that were set there.

The parka offered up for the 81st Pitti Immagine (opening 10th January 2012) is from the more urban and sporty of the collection’s themes, “La Belle Personne”. The inspiration is that mix of formal and informal typical of the French capital’s “young intellectual” milieu, a street-dandy look, with a colour palette of beiges and greys with tones tending towards petrol blue.

Made of lightweight micro-fibre and with thermal padding, the jacket features large practical patch pockets, a zip and an ample fur-trimmed hood that’s detachable.

At Pitti, the collection will be on show on floor –1, stand U1-V2, in a completely renovated space characterized by very clean and simple lines almost subliminally suggesting a modern urban setting, one that’s particularly sophisticated and relaxed though, an environment typical of the main European capitals where modernity also means architecture and design, and where an important part of everyday life is the desire to enjoy everything the city has to offer.

At the entrance to the stand, a video will summarize the key concepts of the brand and the background to the collection in sequences of images accompanied by music.
