FASHIONREPORTERS: Walter, how are you this evening?
Walter: I’m doing great.
FashionReporters: Would you please share with us the inspiration for your autumn/winter 12/13 collection?
Walter: This collection is about the 60′s. It’s about minimumlistic, slick, simple, easy to wear clothing. Day into night… think James Bond, think “Goldfinger”, think “La Fountaine Blu”. This is my vision.
FashionReporters: Are you drawing from personal memories of women in your life during this period in time?
Walter: Well… I was too young, but think about those days. I like the cocoon shape; the boxy oversized jackets, menswear into womenswear. Sexy and she’s confident.
FashionReporters: Do you have any thoughts on the luxury market given the current contraction of our economy?
Walter: Well, I have designed a collection that is affordable. I offer very very cool looks, expensive looking garments at a very affordable price. Everything in the collection is under $300.00 retail and no one can touch it.
FashionReporters: That’s amazing.
Walter: Our new bag line is $200.00 to $250.00 for leather bags no one in the market can touch it.
FashionReporters: And finally, one last question about these amazing boots we’re looking at. Are they your design or a collaboration?
Walter: We collaborated with United Boot and they did a really great job.
